Book signing at Michigan Made & More on Feb. 5, 12-2 to benefit American Heart Association “Go Red” campaign

After more than 20 years managing communications for Fortune 500 companies, Northville resident H. Thomas Saylor now makes his career as an independent consultant and writer. However, his new book I Need You To Know is a far cry from typical corporate communications. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the book is about human relations. It’s about love, romance and communicating with that special someone.

The 5 ½ x 8 ½, 112 page, softcover contains more than 100 original love poems. The book also includes an introduction on relationship development, a relationship journal and a self-assessment aid. A dedication page is set aside to personalize a copy for the one you love. According to Saylor, “It’s all about learning how to love and be loved. I believe I Need You To Knowwill help couples express their love and nurture their relationship. I would not equate communications within a romantic relationship to corporate communications, but there are similarities. Success has to do with building relationships over time. It’s about knowing and respecting your audience. It’s about demonstrating commitment and sharing consistent messages. What you say needs to be reinforced by aligned attitudes, actions and behaviors."

The book is available through a growing list of retailers including Plymouth businesses Michigan Made and More, Ribar Floral, and in Valentine gift baskets from the House of Bread. Michigan Made and the publisher, Three Dot LLC will each donate $1 per copy sold at Michigan Made and More during the book signing on February 5.
